Originally formed by former Muddy Waters sidemen, the group included Pinetop Perkins on piano and the great Jerry Portnoy on Harmonica. This later incarnation of the group now finds Madison Slim on harmonica as well as other Chicago Blues enthusiasts filling in. Slim is a pretty fair singer and harmonica player, the guitarists; Billy Flynn and Willy Phillips do a nice job of playing good standard Chicago-style Blues. The other players do a nice job of laying a solid rhythmic base for the lead players.</p> <p>Overall, it's not a bad album at all, for a group that is content to simply play the Blues the way we've been playing them in Chicago for the last 50 years. ---Peter Krampert, amazon.com</p> <p>download (mp3 @320 kbs):</p> <p><a href="https://yadi.sk/d/gYiD6th3q7GPy" target="_blank" onclick="window.open(this.href,'newwin','left=27,width=960,height=720,menubar=1,toolbar=1,scrollbars=1,status=1,resizable=1');return false;">yandex </a> <a href="http://www.mediafire.com/download/7amcoi5fazn5ge8/LBB-PTB92.zip" target="_blank" onclick="window.open(this.href,'newwin','left=27,width=960,height=720,menubar=1,toolbar=1,scrollbars=1,status=1,resizable=1');return false;">mediafire</a> <a href="https://ulozto.net/file/fCd8mJh9pp3N/legendary-blues-band-prime-time-blues-tbtj-1992-zip" target="_blank" onclick="window.open(this.href,'newwin','left=27,width=960,height=720,menubar=1,toolbar=1,scrollbars=1,status=1,resizable=1');return false;">ulozto </a> <a href="https://www.solidfiles.com/v/XLyvmZ2rmvG5j" target="_blank" onclick="window.open(this.href,'newwin','left=27,width=960,height=720,menubar=1,toolbar=1,scrollbars=1,status=1,resizable=1');return false;">solidfiles </a> <a href="http://global-files.net/vkzyk9" target="_blank" onclick="window.open(this.href,'newwin','left=27,width=960,height=720,menubar=1,toolbar=1,scrollbars=1,status=1,resizable=1');return false;">global-files </a></p> <p> </p> <p><a href="http://www.theblues-thatjazz.com/javascript:history.back();">back</a></p> <p><strong>Legendary Blues Band – Prime Time Blues (1992)</strong></p> <p><img src="http://www.theblues-thatjazz.com/ObrMuz/Blues/Legendary Blues Band/primetime.jpg" border="0" alt="Image could not be displayed. Originally formed by former Muddy Waters sidemen, the group included Pinetop Perkins on piano and the great Jerry Portnoy on Harmonica. This later incarnation of the group now finds Madison Slim on harmonica as well as other Chicago Blues enthusiasts filling in.
