Of Past & Present is the first release from pianist and composer Jameson Nathan Jones. The project was born out of a series of recorded piano improvisations and experimentations. With the assistance of cellist friend, Otávio Kavakama, these ideas were taken and developed into this five track EP.

Drawing from his background as a classically trained pianist, Jameson combines his love for strong melody with an ever evolving sense of exploration. While his style is difficult to specify, he pulls great inspiration from impressionism, minimalism, electronica, and neo-classicism. Though often blending organic and electronic textures, Jameson’s primary goal is to move the listener emotionally, regardless of the instrumentation. ---jamesonnathanjones.bandcamp.com

Blending lush ambient textures with strong modern-classical themes and instrumentation, 'What Dreams May Come' is a dynamic album from start to finish. Themes reappear throughout the album and culminate in the climax of the final track, 'Reprise.'

"The album follows a dream sequence, so the themes return at various points, but not always obviously. When we dream, things are often blurry and out of order in ways that don't make much sense. Occasionally there are moments of clarity, and I feel like it's much the same when listening to the record. I knew I wanted to make a conceptual album in a singles culture.
