Arranged By, Composed By – Lou Stein
Bass – Frank Gravitz
Drums – Bob Rosengarden
Piano, Electric Piano [Yamaha cp-30] – Lou Stein
Tenor Saxophone – Al Klink

The most significant aspect to this quartet outing by pianist Lou Stein is that he performs six of his own originals; only "East of Suez" is particularly well-known (the others are more recent). Stein, who doubles on electric piano during the date, plays much more modern and contemporary than one might expect. While bassist Frank Gravitz and drummer Bobby Rosengarden provide fine backing, tenor saxophonist Al Klink (an alumnus of Glenn Miller's Orchestra) has a rare opportunity to stretch out. Pity that this worthwhile LP is long out of print. ---Scott Yanow, AllMusic Reviews
